We help communities prepare before disaster strikes and recover stronger when it does—so living fully in climate-exposed places isn't just possible, it's sustainable.

Fueling climate solutions

Climate change is already making life harder for millions of people around the world. Droughts, floods, and extreme weather disrupt people’s ability to earn a living, force families from their homes, and threaten access to healthy food and clean water. The countries that have contributed the least to climate change often face its most severe impacts—and have the fewest resources to recover and prepare for what’s ahead.

When farmers suffer through drought, floods hit the same community year after year, or entrepreneurs can’t get reliable power for their businesses—more complex crises arise. Solving this takes new ideas, real investment, and solid partnerships. Prosper Global partners with communities to act before emergencies arise, recover faster, and protect people’s incomes.

Early warning systems, weather forecasts, and access to savings and insurance help people act sooner and bounce back faster. We work with farmers, herders, and fishing communities to adapt to a changing climate. We also expand access to clean energy. For businesses, that means running more efficiently and rethinking how they operate—creating new jobs along the way.

Green connections

Prosper Global brings together governments, communities, businesses, and social entrepreneurs to solve complex problems. Together, we test bold ideas, scale what works, and create lasting change that reaches more people.

We support businesses and communities to switch to cleaner energy, which lowers emissions, cuts energy costs, and gives people a more reliable way to power their work. We’re also reducing our own footprint. In 2021, Prosper Global committed to cut our total carbon footprint in half by 2030. This includes moving toward clean energy across our country offices and operations, while tracking our global emissions so we can measure our progress, and keep improving.
