Geoffrey W. Smith is the Founder of the Digitalis Group, which brings together three organizations focused on advancing health through technology: Digitalis Ventures, a venture capital firm investing in solutions to unmet health needs; Digitalis Commons, a nonprofit developing public-interest technologies to improve health; and Digitalis Labs, an applied research organization exploring new ideas at the intersection of health and technology.

Geoff serves as a Trustee of The Jackson Laboratory, is also a Director of the Partnership Fund for New York City and Salzburg Global, and a founding member of the Scientific Advisory Board of Brigham & Women’s Hospital. Previously, Geoff was the founding Director of the Mount Sinai Institute of Technology and a Professor in the Department of Population Health Science and Policy at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.

Geoff received a B.A. with honors from Williams College and a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
