John is a philanthropy executive with 25 years of experience across the business, nonprofit, and government sectors. His work has focused on advising philanthropists, family offices, and wealth managers on their giving, and on mobilizing private capital for social impact. He is the former CEO of National Philanthropic Trust UK, which he led for more than a decade, growing its charitable assets and expanding its grantmaking to nonprofits around the world. Previously, he served as Director of Philanthropy at the Charities Aid Foundation, led strategy for Mastercard in the Middle East and emerging Europe, and served as a U.S. Foreign Service Officer. He holds a Master in Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School.
